Warranty, Return / Refund, Support Policy

Products will be repaired, replaced depending on the circumstances. Warranty isn’t covered:

  • Damage of a product resulting from negligence.
  • Damage of a product resulting from unauthorized modification of the product.
  • Damage caused by natural disaster.
  • Damage caused due to not following the user manual.
  • Damage caused from natural wear on parts that are designed to wear out (chisels, blades, etc).
  • Damage caused by use in an environment that the product is not designed for.
  • Theft or loss of a product. 
  • To start a claim please email us at admin-farm@farmertec.ca with the following information.
    • Name
    •  Phone number
    • Address
    • Product model number
    • Product serial number (found stamped on a metal plate on the product)
    • Where the product was purchased (including purchase number if known)
    • Date of purchase
    • A description of the defect
    •  Photographs of the product showing any defects

In no case shall The Farmertec Canada, our directors, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the products procured from The Farmertec Canada , or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the product.

Engines and Wood Chippers are covered by the manufacturer of the engine and covered by the warranty period specified by that manufacturer. Wear items including, but not limited to belts, bearings, blades, bed plates, blade guide blocks, chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and tires are excluded from this warranty. Warrantor reserves the right to change the design of its products from time to time without notice and without obligation to make corresponding changes in or to its products previously manufactured.

. Refunds for Chainsaws:

  • We do not offer refunds for purchased chainsaws unless there is a valid defect covered by our warranty (see below).
  • Chainsaws are powerful tools that require proper handling and expertise. If you are inexperienced or unable to operate a chainsaw safely, we strongly recommend seeking professional assistance or training.
  1. Warranty Coverage:
  • Our chainsaws come with a manufacturer’s warranty. If you encounter any issues due to manufacturing defects, please contact our customer support within the warranty period.
  • Warranty claims will be assessed by our technical team to determine if the issue is covered.
  1. Incompetence or Mishandling:
  • If a chainsaw malfunctions due to incompetence or mishandling (e.g., improper assembly, incorrect fuel mixture, or unsafe usage), it will not be eligible for a refund.
  • We encourage all customers to read the user manual thoroughly and follow safety guidelines when using chainsaws.
  1. Returns:
  • If you believe your chainsaw has a defect covered by the warranty, please initiate a return request through our website.
  • Returns will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering the nature of the issue and adherence to safety guidelines.

Support

The support for this warranty is that we will at its discretion provide replacement parts to the original purchaser. This is a parts only warranty and excludes labor and/or other costs associated with replacing parts. The Farmertec Canada  reserves the right to discontinue or change materials, parts, models, or products, or to make substitutions.  We will ship replacement parts via a courier. Express shipping options may be available in certain regions and at an extra cost to the customer. Photos, videos, or the return of defective parts to our Customer Service may be required for proper root cause and replacement. When defective parts are required to be returned, a pre-paid courier shipping label will be provided to the customer.

Parts

We does its best to stock all parts, but in some cases, parts may need to be ordered in and the customer will be notified upon arrival of required parts. The Farmertec Canada will not be liable for any damages associated with the unavailability of parts.

Consequential Losses

The Farmertec Canada a shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential losses, accidents, injury, damages, or expenses, arising directly or indirectly from the product, whether such claim is based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability in tort or any other legal theory. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, The Farmertec Canada specifically disclaims any damages relating to lost profits, business, revenues, or goodwill; any expense or loss incurred for labour, supplies, substitute machinery or rental; or (iii) any other type of damage to property or economic loss.
