FAQ

How can I get the wood chipper?

A: Our wood chipper is available for pick-up only. However, we can arrange shipping through the logistics company, Manitoulin. Shipping costs will depend on your region.

For more information on shipping and to get a quote, please contact Manitoulin directly. You can visit their website here: Home – MANITOULIN TRANSPORT. Please note that we do not have information on shipping prices as our customers agree on these directly with Manitoulin.

Which models of the wood chipper can be towed on the road and which ones can be transported in a pickup truck box?

A: All our models are road legal. However, there are certain speed limitations to be aware of for safety and legal compliance:

– For our 17hp and 19.5hp models, if you’re driving on the highway, you should limit your speed to 50km/h.
– Our 25hp and 30hp models have a higher speed limit of 100km/h on the highway.

Additionally, our 17hp and 19.5hp models are conveniently sized to fit in the box of a pickup truck, making transportation easy.

What does the warranty of our wood chippers cover?

A: The warranty of our wood chippers covers the engine. However, it does not cover moving parts such as the knives.

Q: Can I buy a set of knives for the wood chipper?

A: Yes, you can purchase a set of knives for our wood chippers directly from our shop. Please note that these are not covered under the original warranty.

Will the saws come straight out of the box, unassembled?

Before shipping, we fill every chainsaw with oil and gasoline, carefully test them for about 20 minutes to ensure everything works perfectly. If you prefer to receive the saw disassembled, just let us know by adding a note in the comments section of your order.

How to run the saw for the first time?

A: 1. Warm your saw up to operating temperature before tuning. 2. Let your saw idle for 30 seconds sitting on the ground (somewhat level). Without touching the throttle, pick it up and tilt it forward (bar to the ground). If it stays running, continue to step 3. If it stalls, the “L” low adjustment screw is too rich and will need to be screwed in clockwise. I recommend only adjusting 1/16 of a turn at a time, then check again. 3. From idle, rev the saw. If it accelerates properly and responsive, continue to step 4. If it bogs down and is not responsive, it is too lean. Increase fuel by unscrewing (counterclockwise) the “L” low adjustment screw. Again, I recommend only adjusting 1/16 of a turn at a time, then check again. Continue this step until the saw is responsive and accelerates properly. 4. Adjusting the high screw: rev the saw at full throttle for 5 seconds and no more. If it sounds like it is gargling, it is right were it should be, proceed to step 5. If it is screaming at high pitch, it is too lean. Loosen the “H” high adjustment screw counterclockwise to allow more fuel. Again, I recommend only adjusting 1/16 of a turn at a time, then check again. Repeat this step util the saw gargles at full throttle running free. 5. Let the saw return to idle; if the chain is not moving at all, your saw is properly tuned. If the chain is moving, unscrew counterclockwise the idle adjustment screw until the chain stops moving.

Important!

At first use 25:1 for about 5 tank, then may reduce to 32:1

For breaking in Farmertec suggests 25:1. After 3-5 tanks go to 32:1 or 40:1. Please do not run 50:1! This is NOT an original Stihl or Husqvarna equipment

What is the warranty period for the  chainsaws?

A: The warranty period for our chainsaws varies depending on the type of usage. For home use, the warranty period is 6 months. However, for commercial use, the warranty is valid for 3 months. Please note that the warranty starts from the date of purchase.
